MOVEMBER.

Can you believe it? Tomorrow is the first of December, Christmas will soon be round the corner and presents will need to be bought, unless you've started already…in which case, I hate you (only kidding)

BEAUTY SCHOOL DROP OUT.

I don’t know what’s happening me lately, it seems as I get older I dress more and more like a 13 year old school girl. (Not in a saucy way ha) No, I’m not talking Ann Summers, more pinafores, white shirts and duffle’s. I’ve even got the satchel to tip me over the edge. So it wasn’t till my boyfriend said I looked like I was off to school and my brother told me I looked like Paddington bear that began to wonder… 

Is there a rule to dressing your age?

To be honest I always say if you like it, go for it. Don’t conform to what other people wear and dress to what suits your shape.

So here you have it.

I love my new tartan scarf; well new to me, not to my mum whom I pinched it from. It goes perfectly with my blue jumper and both together brighten up any dull winters day. 
Worn over an old Topshop dress which I’m trying to make have a come back and a simple white shirt from H&M… Maybe I will do a post soon of just the dress and how I wear it on its own, its really girlie and normally rears it head round the Christmas party season, so you could be seeing it soon.

Hope the weather hasn't been too wet and wild this week for everyone, strangely we had one dry bright sunny day so I jumped out with my camera. hello this post!

UNDER THE SAME STARS.

My favourite piece of clothing has to be the shirt. It doesn’t need to be a stand out print or anything fancy; I just find shirts so versatile I almost always work them into every outfit.

One things for sure you cant beat the crème del la crème of shirts by Equipment.
If you haven’t heard of Equipment, where have you been all my life?
Introducing men’s shirts into women’s wardrobes the collection features modern, androgynous silhouettes, luxe fabrics and unexpected details. Their “Signature” is by far my favourite; I find the cut is perfect for me.

I was lucky enough to visit the showroom for their SS13 collection and I must say, it was like a dream. If only I could have one in every colour. (Sigh)

Ok, lets get back to the topic in hand, my starry shirt. What’s great, it’s a smart shirt but with a fun element. I like how I cant just throw it on with simple black skinnies and look like I’ve made more of an effort. Minus my hair, which I do apologise for ha

LUMBERJACK.

Hi I am Kim and I’m a tree-aholic. 

A crisp Sunday morning, pull on your warmest jacket and head for you’re nearest forest.
When I was younger I had the best time climbing trees, building huts and generally being the biggest tomboy I knew, oh how times have changed.

As much as I love smock dresses, chelsea boots and the general girliness that adorns my wardrobe. There’s a time and a place. This is when you pull on your trainers (preferable not white, epic fail I made) and a cosy warm jacket.

I can’t even describe how snug I was in this jacket by Penfield. All that needs to be said, the pockets are fleece lined… OOOooo so toasty I could live in them.
I parted with warmth briefly to show this cute American style tee from Olive, it's a great length as I love slightly longer Tshirts when wearing skinnies and they have such an amazing selection of basics/tops definitely worth a look.

HATS OFF TO YOU SIR.

Hats off to this beautiful street on the Kings Road. Even though it was wet and miserable, it would put a smile on anyone’s face. I’ve already called dibs on number 25, just because it’s my favourite shade of blue. I’m easily swayed.

Not only am I in love with this magical rainbow avenue, am also quite chuffed with my new urban outfitters shirt. Although I am meant to be on a shopping sabbatical, this off the cuff buy (elbow nudge) couldn’t be missed.
To girlie it up slightly I wore it with my full skater skirt, pork pie hat and the comfiest London appropriate boots I could find.
