MONOCHROME ME.








January 2013 is well and truly in full swing and somehow I’m stuck in black and white. No really, everything I wear lately doesn’t seem to fall too far from greyscale, as displayed here and I’m sure which you will see from upcoming posts. It must be this darn weather and grey skies that have me coordinating. I cant wait to see some blue up there again.

Lucky for black and white, they are up there with my favourite colours to wear, with a pop of red lipstick your good to go. (Red lipstick is my go to for dressing up any outfit)

It’s hard to tell from these photographs but what I like about this outfit are the mixed fabrics, chiffon shirt, jersey top and velvet textured trousers. It kind of makes wearing a lot of black, a little less boring.

Things aren’t all grey. I’ve headed into 2013 feeling very positive and excited. Mainly because I have two trips already planned, which I can’t wait for… How is everyone’s January going so far?

 This post was taken pre Christmas, that some how got lost in the post....but after hemming and hawing I thought I would just post it anyway, with a few of you saying you'd want to still see it. Stay tuned for a brand spanking new 2013 post featuring my new bag. Coming soon :)

  11. I find myself wearing a lot of black, but I haven't really experimented much with textures. I have a pair of black velvet leggings that I should really wear more often as they are so comfortable! Thanks for inspiring me to go wild with textures in black :)
